What is Sarclisa used for?

Sarclisa (isatuximab) is a CD38-directed cytolytic antibody (immunotherapy) indicated:

  • In combination with pomalidomide and dexamethasone (pom-dex) for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (MM). It is used when the disease has not responded (refractory) or has come back (relapsed) after at least 2 or more prior lines of therapy including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor.
  • In combination with carfilzomib and dexamethasone for adult patients with RRMM who have received 1 to 3 prior lines of therapy.

It is available in vial form containing either 100 mg/5 ml or 500 mg/25 ml of isatuximab.
