What is Cabometyx used for?

Cabometyx (cabozantinib) is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Previously untreated kidney cancer (advanced renal cell carcinoma), as a first-line treatment in combination with Opdivo (nivolumab).
  • Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) which has been previously treated with sorafenib.
  • Adult and pediatric patients 12 years of age and older with locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) that has progressed following prior VEGFR-targeted therapy and who are ineligible or refractory to radioactive iodine.

It is available in tablet form, each containing 20 mg or 40 mg cabozantinib.
