Adcetris

Adcetris (brentuximab vedotin) is a CD30-directed antibody-drug conjugate used to treat people with certain lymphomas (a type of white blood cell) that are CD30-positive. It is indicated for the treatment of:

Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (HL):

• Newly diagnosed Stage 3 or 4 HL, together with chemotherapy (doxorubicin, vinblastine and dacarbazine);
• When the cancer has come back or has not responded to an autologous stem cell transplant (a transplant of the patient's own blood-producing cells);
• When there is a high risk of coming back or worsening after a stem cell transplant;
• After a stem cell transplant fails or after at least 2 combination chemotherapy treatments fail and stem cell transplant is not an option.

Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma:

• Newly diagnosed systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma (sALCL, a cancer of lymphocytes called T-cells), together with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, and prednisone;
• sALCL when the cancer has come back or when other treatments have not worked;
• Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma (pCALCL) or CD30-expressing mycosis fungoides who have received prior systemic therapy (treatment that reaches and affects the entire body).

It is available in vial form for intravenous infusion, containing 50 mg brentuximab vedotin.
